Mary Spinnler LLC is a small firm that provides year-round support with all things taxes and accounting. Owned and led by Mary Spinnler who’s been doing taxes and accounting for over 40 years, you’ll be in great, compassionate hands! Our hope is that we can take on your tax and accounting stresses so you can rest a little easier knowing you’re getting high-caliber, personalized support.

Mary Spinnler (she/her)
Owner/EA
Mary has been supporting people with their taxes, bookkeeping, and tax planning for 40+ years and has been an Enrolled Agent for over 30 years. Prior to getting her tax license, Mary owned her own business and she started doing taxes to get a better understanding of how taxes affected her business and her personal life. She loved it so much that she decided to make a lifelong career out of it. Mary is passionate about giving her clients personalized service and making them feel cared for. Many people have stayed with her for many, many years because of how she makes the process easeful and enjoyable.
In short, she loves taxes and she loves people!
Outside of the office, Mary enjoys spending time with her daughter, Nicole, and going to Amsterdam to visit her other daughter, Cari. She also loves to read and watch the latest and greatest TV shows.

Beverly Berton (she/her)
Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper
Bev is an experienced, licensed tax preparer and meticulous bookkeeper, known for her detail-oriented approach and ability to navigate complex tax scenarios. Specializing in individual, small business, corporate, and partnership returns, and small business bookkeeping since 2017, she is driven by a passion for helping individuals and small business owners achieve financial clarity and peace of mind by taking the stress out of the bookkeeping and tax preparation process.
Bev holds an Oregon LTP license and stays current with all federal and state tax regulations. She is proficient in key industry software for bookkeeping, including Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, and FreshBooks. As a tax preparer and bookkeeper, Bev offers personalized service, building trusting relationships that extend over many tax seasons.
Outside of the office, Bev enjoys hiking, xc skiing, gardening, and sharing time with family and friends.

Kai Love (they/he)
Tax Preparer/Office Manager
Kai is a newer tax preparer working under the mentorship of Mary. They help Mary with tax preparation, keep the office in order, and are slowly building their own clientele specializing in working with queer and trans small businesses and individuals (and allies of our community!). Their double Virgo brain loves supporting their clients in building financial systems that will empower their wealth building and planning for tax preparation. You’ll hear their friendly voice answering the phone or talk with them via email as they steward the support of your tax preparation.
Outside of work, Kai loves spending time with their chosen family, their partner, frolicking in the trees, and laughing as much as possible.
