Click here to sign this year’s Engagement Letter, which gives us permission to do your taxes. We need one on file for every tax year.
Click here to fill out the Tax Organizer. This supports us in getting the details we need to accurately prepare your return.

If you’re needing to file an extension for the 2025 tax year, we can file it for you for a $35 charge. Or you can file it yourself by visiting this link here.
Remember: an extension is an extension of time to file, but NOТ an extension of time to pay. Any unpaid tax due as of April 15th will begin to accrue interest and penalties until paid in full. The penalty is a percentage of the amount due.
How do I know how much to pay? You will need to estimate this number yourself, using your last years' tax return and adjusting for this years income and expenses. If you pay more than you need to, the excess is treated the same as excess withholding, and will be reconciled and applied as appropriate (usually refunded or applied to your next estimated payment) when your return is filed.
See below for how to make payments to the IRS and Oregon online.
-
TO PAY THE IRS:
Go to www.irs.gov/payments
Click on either “Direct Pay with bank account” if you’re paying with your bank account or “Pay by card or digital wallet” if you’d like to pay by card.
Click on “pay individual tax”. Unless you are paying for your business (c-corp, s-corp, or partnership) then click “pay business tax”.
Click “make a payment”
Enter the reason for the payment in the drop down menu. It is extremely important that you select the correct reason for the payment. The most likely options for our clients will be “balance due”, “estimated tax”, or “application for extension”. If you are not sure which to select, call our office or email info@maryspinnlerllc.com.
The “Apply Payment To” drop down menu should be an automatic selection based on the reason you selected, but double check that there aren’t more options to select and select the correct option if so.
Enter the tax period payment. It is also extremely important to enter the correct tax year that you’re applying the payment to.
Choose a tax year for verification and enter the information asked based on what was on your return for the tax year selected. This is a security measure.
Enter amount and payment information and submit.
Save the confirmation email and make a note somewhere safe how much you paid and for what.
Note: if you’ve set up your own account on the IRS.gov website, follow the instructions in the appropriate section (“Pay in Online Account” for personal taxes or “Pay in business tax account” for business taxes). -

Select whether or not you’re paying with a voucher with a media number. These vouchers will come from Oregon. If you do not have one, select “no”.
